Ghost Signals: How We Lost Trust In Authority, And Authority Taught Us To Distrust Ourselves (Aug 2020)

Starting in the 1960s, a series of massive deceptions by the U.S Government and the media shook ordinary people's trust in basic narratives about their world. Via the moon landing 'hoax' of the 60s and 'Russian mind control waves' of the 1980s — as well as a little early 90s sci-fi 'culture-jamming' — this film looks at how the CIA cleverly defused growing distrust in authority and mainstream media narratives by giving it a name we all know: 'conspiracy theory'.
